Lately my "go-to" cocktail of choice has been the classic margarita. Not since my ol college days have I liked margaritas so much (go figure). I've also enjoyed exploring different versions of margaritas in the comfort of my home. Last week I tried a watermelon 'marg' and it was meh, but this week's pineapple margarita is definitely worth sharing.

It really doesn't get much simpler than this. There's only four ingredients and honestly I have found my Summer cocktail. Enjoy this recipe and tell me how you like it.
Delicious, tart yet sweet, refreshing, and an easy twist on an original. I prefer freshly squeezed juices but of coarse you can use store bought 100% juice for a similar taste.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Serving size: 1
2 oz. tequila (I used Patron Silver)
2 oz. pineapple juice
1/2- 1 oz. simple syrup
1-2 oz. lime juice
1. Prepare your glass by wetting the rim with lime juice and dipping it in salt
2. Fill glass with ice
3. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker and "shake what ya Mama gave ya"
4. Pour in glass over ice, garnish with lime and/or pineapple wedge.
Honestly I make my recipe to taste. A little more this or that. You really can't go wrong with this recipe.
