My Pumpkin Spice Matcha Latte Recipe

Like many people I enjoy a daily cup of coffee. I’m a self confessed coffee drinker. I have my go-to Starbucks order and make a great at home cup if I need to. But recently I’ve become intrigued by the benefits of matcha and I’ve decided to occasionally replace my cinnamon almond milk latte with this pumpkin spice matcha latte recipe instead.

What’s Matcha?

Matcha powder is made from finely ground green tea leaves from Japan. Green tea is known for its amazing benefit, so when consuming matcha you’re actually consuming the entire green tea leaf, therefore the benefits are magnified.

So with that said, the benefits of a matcha latte far outweigh the traditional cup of coffee I have almost everyday!

This recipe also includes pumpkin spice, my favorite Fall ingredient, so honestly it doesn’t get any better than this. ☺️


• 2 teaspoons matcha powder

• 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

• 1 cup boiling water

• 1 cup almond milk

• 2 teaspoons MCT oil or unrefined virgin coconut oil

• 2 drop of pure vanilla extract


In a blender, add all the ingredients together and blend for 45 seconds to a minute. If possible strain the matcha and pumpkin spice through a mini strainer to get a deliciously smooth matcha latte. Top with extra matcha or extra pumpkin spice and enjoy!!
